What is Japanese Used Vehicle Grading system?


An important part in preparation of the inspection sheet for Japanese used vehicles is grading. Inspection sheets are prepared by auction halls for every vehicle determines the state of the car; its grade and options are mentioned in the auction sheet. On the basis of this, used vehicle importers buy vehicles with complete faith and assurance. Grading describes the quality of the used cars and its usage. It allows buyers to decide how much the same used vehicle will cost in the market or how long the same vehicle will now run further.



In Grading system/ Appraisal point system, numbers and letters are used to depict the condition of the vehicle. The inspection sheet prepared by auction dealers or auction halls contains the interior, exterior, overall condition of the vehicle. Grading on vehicles is done under very strict and standard way, so that importers can trust these grading. Below are the grades with their specification, which can help importers to understand the condition of the used vehicle they are buying.
