Mongolia being a left-hand drive country, allows importation of right-hand drive vehicles with a valid import license. Customs Declaration Fees:-
- US$5 for basic declaration.
- US$8 for basic intensive and simplified customs declaration.
- US$5 for every additional declaration.
- Payments for the charged services are to be made in MNT at the US Dollar rate of the day.
Shipping Method:-
Used vehicles are generally shipped to Mongolia through Ulan Bator (Ulaanbaatar) and Port of Tianjin. RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) shipping method is used for vehicle shipment. On request of customers another safe and expensive method of shipping, container shipping is used. These ports provide straight forward clearing procedures and outstanding security for the used car and its content.
